At Konsolidator A/S, we are a Copenhagen-based SaaS company specializing in cloud-based financial consolidation solutions. As we continue to grow, we aim to enhance our product offerings with advanced reporting capabilities powered by Microsoft Fabric. To achieve this, we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of Fabric-based solutions, elevating our platform to the next level.

Your Role

As the Lead Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, driving the development of a modern data architecture that enhances our customers’ reporting and analytics capabilities.

You will:

    • Analyse, design, develop, and implement various Microsoft Fabric solutions according to specific customer demands.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performance data solutions.
    • Optimize data pipelines, storage, and processing to support advanced reporting and analytics.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends in data engineering and Microsoft Fabric to continuously improve our offerings.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including Lakehouse, Dataflows, Notebooks, Pipelines and Real-Time Analytics
    • Experience in implementing OneLake architecture, integrating structured and unstructured data sources
    • Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and ETL processes using Fabric Pipelines or Azure Data Factory
    • Proficiency in data visualization, particularly with Power BI.
    • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in agile development teams, embracing collaboration and iterative progress.
    • Experience with ERP systems and their integration with data platforms.

 

Preferred Certifications

    • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
